Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana intends to name the proposed new districts after the names of former PM, Mr. P.V. Narasimha Rao, former President, Dr. Zakir Husain, Dr. Jai Shanker, Mr. Kaloji Narayan Rao and Kumaram Bhim.
It is expected that new districts would be formed on 15th August or on the occasion of Dasarah. The city of Hyderabad will also be divided into the districts of Charminar and Golconda. The other places to be elevated as districts are Nirmal, Bhadrachalam, Yadgirgutta, Vemulawada etc.
